From 1997 till 1999 she worked as a substitute at the Community Health Centre Split, where she was for a shorter period of time employed as a substitute at the outpatient clinic of the Specialized Institution for Children with Mental Disorders “Juraj Bonaći” Split. This was the first opportunity for her to work with special and more demanding patients. Throughout her professional career she has been feeling the need to help the weaker ones and those with challenging life situations, so she worked at the Foster Care Centre “Maestral” in Split and is regular member of the Lions Club “Grič” in Zagreb since 2012.
Thereafter she opened a private practice in in Split in 1999. One year later she works as a private dental practitioner under contract with the Croatian Health Insurance Fund.
Throughout the time working as private dental practitioner she has been attending all relevant courses and lectures both in Croatia and abroad in order to upgrade her professional knowledge. Thus, from 2003 till 2004 she took a course at the Universita di Mascillochirurgia, Ferrara, Italy and in 2007. a course in implantology at the Uniklinik Mainz in Germany. During the education in Mainz she completed an additional course in implantology at the private clinic in Obertauern.
In 2009 she attended the course in Aesthetic Dental Medicine in Ulm, Germany, and from this point on, her professional career has taken a turn towards aesthetics in dental medicine.
Due to private reasons, she moved to Zagreb in 2010. For the first two years, the address of her private practice in Zagreb was Crvenog križa, then she moved to the address Radnički dol 17, near Britanski trg. Present address is Primorska 10.
Her great interest in aesthetics in dental medicine is one of the reasons she started a cooperation with Heraeus Kulzer Germany (now Kulzer Mitsui Chemical Group) as expert advisor of Dental for the Adriatic Region.
The cooperation started in 2010 and continues today. In the past 12 years, she conducted a large number of lectures, workshops and courses with live demonstrations. In addition to giving training courses for other doctors of dental medicine, she attended the most advanced courses herself in order to advance professionally and become more competitive. She applies any new knowledge gained in the day-to-day practice.
Aside from her work in the Adriatic Region, she holds lectures and workshops in other countries as well, such as Greece, Hungary, Turkey etc.
The next logical step after aesthetics in dental medicine is facial and neck aesthetics. Thus, since 2012 she has been attending various courses for hyaluronic fillers, Botox, thread lift and PRF rejuvenation methods.
Since 2010 she has published a number of articles in scientific journals.
She is fluent in English and Italian, which has been a great advantage in terms of communication with doctors from around the world and holding lectures and courses.
She is a member of the Croatian Dental Chamber since 1997. In 2004 she joined the Croatian Medical Association and in 2016 the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry (ESCD).
